Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the machine shop, including workflow management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and fully operational.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor machine shop staff.
  • Enforce adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the other departments to ensure timely procurement and output of products.
  • Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Develop, prepare, and manage the production budget.
  • Monitor expenses and implement effective cost-saving measures.
  • Provide technical support to resolve production-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machinery and equipment problems.
